SHORT STORIES FOR BUSY PARENTS*

It's a busy, busy world these days and there's no time for everything! A good way to have ten minutes of 'wind-down' time is to pick up a book and read.

 

Can't commit to War and Peace on that train ride into Town Hall Station? How about a SHORT STORY? Something quick and snappy. It's a worthwhile alternative to scrolling through the newsfeed on your phone.

 

For ten minutes a day, read a short story! If an actual book is too much for you then it's totally okay to listen to an audio book and let your imagination do the reading (just try and keep the social media to a minimum please!)

 

Campsie Library will be having an 'event'  called SHORT STORIES FOR BUSY PARENTS on Monday 2nd December (drop in any time between 7 and 9pm) where we will have a selection of books for you to look at (both real and eBooks) and a tech-savvy staff member will be there to show people how to find eBooks on their smart phone and iPads. To make it more fun, there will be WINE AND BEER!
